APC is once again participating in the Thad and Alice Eure Walk / Run for Hope on Sunday October 10th in Raleigh, North Carolina. We would very much like for you, your family and friends to join the APC team.
The Walk for Hope is 10k (6.2 miles) walk from the Angus Barn Restaurant through Umstead State Park that raises funds for scientific research into the causes, cures and to discover more effective treatment of mental illness. The walk starts at 10:00am. The Walk ends back at the Angus Barn for a fabulous post walk celebration with live music, great food and prizes. It is a fun day, a great way to get exercise and spend time with friends and family and all the while helping many who suffer in silence. If you’re not up for the 10k there is a half walk and a 1 mile Nature Walk around Angus Barn Lake. If you prefer to run, the Run for Hope starts at 8:00am.
